A Little Bit of Spring

So very happy to see the sun shining in through my kitchen window this morning.  It made my first cup of coffee really good.  It made my first chore of the day- raking the leaves in my backyard not so bad.  Here is my latest, Good Will treasure, happy to have a green home, Miss Goose.  I think she is a nice fit in this shabby farmhouse state of mind I'm in.

 

I made this chippy little sign today!  Just listed it on Etsy too.

Sanded my awful wooden floors in the kitchen.  I made a terrible dusy mess but, I figure it's a trade-out for an arm work out.  While sanding, I was singing, "like a virgin..." you know Madona's song, and we all know what great arms she has!

I have been BUSY!  I hope you are having a great weekend.

Greetings on this beautiful Sunday Morning.  Well, I did it.  I put the finishing touches on my shabby cottage sign today.  Kinda crazy... here you spend lots of time making it nice and neat, then you sand, scrap, and bang it up so that it looks... nice and shabby.  Check it out on Etsy.  Tell me if you think it looks old.

This is what I woke up to this morning.  As beautiful as the white stuff is, I was really hoping for a different kind of day.  Alas, Spring cleaning begins inside.  And that's okay too.  So much to do.
