My New Look

I was outside today in the sweltering heat taking a few pictures and had some real fun with an iron bed frame.  Yes, this is going into my house as soon as I get the room painted.  So what do you think of my new header?  Of course, I started messing around with the new designer templates, chose one, not sure I like it.  I read the message about saving your entire blog, but didn't, hmm, so there's no going back now.  Change is good- right?  For now, stay happy and cool.

Pretty in Pink

Don't you just love old shabby, chippy, pink paint on a dresser, or how cuddly it looks in a pieced quilt? I love it. It reminds me of summer, roses and comfort.  Well, I just listed some pink things and they are both included in a beautiful treasury on Etsy.  If you like the color pink and roses don't miss this one.

One Ringy-Dingy... Remember When?

This is quite coincidental.  I am working away at my Etsy shop listing a few 1970's things like a bright yellow fondue pot and a bright orange trimline phone when sweet Kate from,  OrganicOdysseys  adds my vintage rolodex to a treasury about vintage communication called, "Call me..."  Too funny.

Our monster black rotary phone would get heavy after a while and I'd say good-bye.
